Indemo has updated the way cashback transactions are allocated and displayed in investors’ statements and portfolio reporting.
This improvement is part of our ongoing work to make investor reporting clearer, more detailed, and easier to understand. Cashback has always been an important part of the Indemo investor experience, and we want investors to see not only the final cashback amount, but also how that amount is connected to the investments that generated it.
What has changed?
Previously, when an investor moved to a higher cashback tier, the additional cashback amount could appear as a cumulative adjustment.
This correctly reflected the total cashback due to the investor. However, the format did not always show in detail how the additional cashback was connected to the individual investments that triggered it.
With the updated logic, cumulative cashback adjustments are now split and allocated across the original investment transactions that generated them.
This means that each cashback amount is linked more precisely to its parent investment transaction, giving investors a clearer and more detailed view of how their cashback was calculated.
Why this matters for investors

For investors, this update improves the transparency and readability of account statements.
Instead of seeing only a general cashback adjustment after reaching a new tier, investors can now better understand:
• which investments contributed to the cashback amount
• how the cashback was allocated across those investments
• how the final cashback total was formed
• how cashback is connected to each relevant investment transaction
This makes the reporting experience more intuitive, especially for investors who invest multiple times during a cashback campaign or move into a higher cashback tier after making additional investments.
A clearer view in the Sold section

The update also improves how repaid investments are displayed in the Sold section of the portfolio. The Sold section is found under Portfolio > Assets > Sold.
For each repaid Debt (Asset), investors can now see the Actual Return together with a breakdown that includes both:
• the investment return generated by the Asset itself
• the cashback already paid in relation to that investment
For example, a repaid Asset may show an Actual Return of 22.35%, consisting of:
• 22.02% investment return
• 0.33% cashback
This gives investors a more complete view of the result achieved from each investment. It shows not only the return generated by the Asset itself, but also any applicable cashback already received in relation to that investment. Thus allowing investors to understand how efficiently invested capital was in this particular investment.
What does this mean in practice?
The change is mainly about presentation, allocation, and reporting logic.
The total cashback amount due to investors does not decrease. The update does not remove, reduce, or alter any cashback owed to investors.
Instead, it improves how cashback is displayed by connecting it more clearly to the underlying investment transactions.
In practice, this means investors may see cashback amounts split across related investments instead of shown only as one general cumulative adjustment. This provides more detail and makes it easier to follow how cashback was calculated and applied.
Greater transparency, better reporting
At Indemo, we believe that transparency is not only about providing information. It is also about making that information easy to understand.
This update helps investors read their statements and portfolio data with more confidence. By showing cashback in a more detailed and transaction-linked way, we aim to give investors a clearer picture of their portfolio performance and the extra return benefits received through cashback campaigns.
The improvement also supports a more complete understanding of repaid investments, especially when investment returns and cashback both contribute to the overall result.
Important note
This update does not change the cashback amount owed to investors.
It only improves how cashback is allocated, displayed, and connected to the investment transactions that generated it.
Continuing to improve investor reporting
This update is part of Indemo’s broader commitment to improving investor reporting, platform transparency, and portfolio visibility.
As the platform grows, we continue to refine how investment data is presented, helping investors better understand their portfolio, their returns, and the details behind each transaction.
Our goal remains the same: to make real estate-backed investing more transparent, accessible, and easier to follow for our investor community.
