Flow stages help investors track where an asset is in the recovery process, but the stage name alone does not always tell the full story.
For example, one step may be mostly administrative, while another may involve court decisions, debtor communication, auction preparation, or property possession. Some stages can move quickly, while others may take longer depending on the court, the debtor, the property, and the possible recovery route.
In the video, Ilja also explains why the legal process is not the only possible path. In some cases, recovery may happen through an out-of-court settlement, a secondary sale to an institutional buyer, a court-ordered payment, or the eventual sale of the property.
