Investment Platform Indemo Announces Close of €500,000 Seed Round

Indemo has announced the closing of a €500,000 seed funding round. The investment platform’s mission is to empower retail investors to earn income through products previously reserved for high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors. With this seed round closed, Indemo’s total valuation stands at  €2,500,000 – putting the company in a prime position to achieve its goals.

What’s next for Indemo?

Indemo will be using the seed funding to accelerate the launch of the platform, hire an operational team of 10+, increase partnerships and integrations, and begin work on prototyping upcoming products and features.

In the coming months, Indemo will be working on significant product releases, with a focus on launching the www.indemo.eu platform. This will enable users to invest in Mortgage Loan and Discounted Debt Investments from Spain - exciting opportunities that were previously unavailable to retail investors.. The InDemo team is excited to continue promoting investment democracy across the EU – helping investors discover alternative ways to supplement their income.

Indemo welcomes new investors to the business

Both existing shareholders and three new equity investors participated in the seed investment round. The new Riga based equity investors have a proven record in the business community - each having created innovative, high-quality products themselves. Among the new investors are Joseph Burnstein (founder of Aquatica), Gocha Tutberidze (banking and fin-tech investor) and the Igosins family (tech investors). The Indemo team is excited to have found investors that share the same values, goals, and vision for the company.

Indemo’s CEO and Co-Founder Sergejs Viskovskis is confident that the new investment will accelerate operations significantly: “We’re happy to welcome new equity investors aboard. In the current investment climate, the cost of attracting new capital is rising, and the sentiment in the private equity market is conservative. Attracting investment for Indemo proves the potential of our upcoming product, the strength of our team, and the vision of investment democracy. Achieving this wouldn’t have been possible without the tremendous work delivered by the Indemo team in 2022”.

The future of retail investment?

Indemo’s founders created the platform to bridge a significant gap in the investment retail market . A high number of investment products are only made available to high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors, often with complex, high ticket and time-consuming entry. Through its investment platform, Indemo is making these products available to everyone – ushering in a new age of opportunities for the retail investor. This gap in the market, the team believes, will bring about much needed change in investment culture, making Indemo a great place for alternative investment products.

Indemo SIA obtained an investment firm licence from the Financial and Capital Market Commission in November 2022 and is supervised by Latvijas Banka (the Central Bank of Latvia).
